Some of you will remember Rites of Lilith, the limited hardcover leather edition of my grimoire on the Queen of the Night, published a few years ago. It suddenly disappeared from the publisher’s store last year, and since then I have tried, repeatedly, to get in touch with the publisher about what would happen to the book going forward, but never received a clear answer. After months of silence, I made the decision that felt most honest to me and to the readers who have been asking when it would be available again: I am publishing it myself.
This is the author's edition of the book, and it carries a new title: Lilith: Grimoire of the Nightside. The change in name reflects something real about the book itself — this is not simply a reprint of the old text under new management. I went back into the manuscript, expanded several sections, added a completely new chapter on Lilith and Astrology, and replaced some of the portraits and sigils, based on everything I have continued to explore in the years since the original was published. The core of the book — its structure, its theological foundation, its central argument about who Lilith actually is beneath two thousand years of distortion — remains exactly what it was. But this edition is, in every meaningful sense, the more complete version of the work I originally set out to write.

For those who have not encountered this book yet: Lilith: Grimoire of the Nightside is the most extensive work I have written on the goddess, the result of more than thirty years of direct practice and seven years of dedicated research and writing. It begins with her full mythology and history — from her earliest Mesopotamian origins through the Bible, the Dead Sea Scrolls, Mandaean Gnosticism, the Talmud, the Zohar, and the Qabalah — and moves into her role as Queen of Sitra Ahra, her function as the Dark Initiatrix across all nine spheres of the Qliphothic Tree, and her place as one of the most complete expressions of the Divine Feminine in Western esoteric tradition.
From there it goes further than most books on the subject are willing to go. There is a full examination of eighteen names and titles of Lilith — the Night Hag, the Scarlet Whore, the Princess of Screeching, and many others — each treated as a distinct magical entity in its own right, with its own current and its own method of approach. Beyond these, the book explores eighteen of her secret names, the four Angels of Prostitution, her pre-biblical Mesopotamian forms, and eighteen additional faces gathered from across the traditions that have carried her current over the centuries. Practical chapters on tools, self-initiation, an opening ritual, and a complete pathworking into the Cave of Lilith round out the working material, alongside sigils and evocative portraits designed to open her current to you directly.
